Hi I purchased the book 50 Sensational Crochet Afghans a month or so back. I was doing an afghan Stars and stripes. It had incorrect data and a friend of mine figures it out. The afghan turned out beautiful. Last week I decided to do the Stained Glass Window. I have tried to make sever squares, but they just don't turn out right. Is it possible there is also a mistake in this pattern as well? I am interestedin completing the afghan. Colinette
Hello Maria, I came across the errata through 'Ravelry,' (it's excellent & free to join.) http://www.anniesattic.com/pages/customer_service/pattern_services.html?criteria=C70218
Hi Lil i followed your links, but the problem indicated was in the assembly. I am having problem with the 5 and 6 rows. The black lines are raising up and not attaching to the other colours and the end product to this point is beginning to curl and looks more like a flower pattern than a flat piece of stain glass. Something is going wrong and I have started from scratch several times and come up with the same problem. If anyone has completed this square successfully, maybe they could contact me and maybe explain what is going wrong. Thank you Maria
I took a look at the pattern, but cannot figure out what your problem is without seeing your wip. Can you post a photo on your blog/Flickr or post your problem and/or photo to a forum on Ravelry? Someone there should be able to figure out your problem.
Hi, first of all, great job!, beautiful colors. I´m trying to make one for myself but I also have troubles with the black stripes on 5 and 6 round, the called cluster st. Could you be so kind and explain how did you do it? please, I just don´t understand and after several attemps I´m a little bit frustrated. lol. My very best wishes for you, from Chile Carolina
cAROLINA When you or someone on the blog figures out the pattern, I would love to know how its done. I have had several friends try to figure it out and everybody is beyond frustration. You would think the designer of this pattern whould have done something about the pattern by now making it more simple for users like us. The designer would make more sales if he/she made it more friendly for us to follow a simple pattern. I am sure with the designers ability she could figure out a easier version with pictures. Please pass on and maybe someone will get the message and respond to all of us who would like to crochet the afghan. Maria
Maria I´m very glad to tell you that I already figure this pattern out, I haven´t finished the first one yet but I have been taking pictures on every step, I will be posting it on my blog soon, I hope it gets clearer to you too. I couldn´t reach your blog. I give you my link. Hugs. Carolina

There was a crochet-along on Ravelry with many helpful crocheters.
